While implementing Trendmicro Deep Security for our mixed ESXi 5.0 and 5.5 hosts we ran into an incompatibility issue.
For the ESXi 5.5. hosts we had to set up a new VShield Manager, which is now at version 5.5.2.1. But somehow this version does not come with an equivalent Endpoint version. In the vShield Manager webconsole, the installed version of the Endpoint is shown as version 5.1.0-01255202. And a newer Available version is not shown. The vShield App does show a 5.5.0 version.
So, is there an Endpoint version 5.5.2.1 availbale at all ? And if so, where can I get it. Can't seem to find it anywhere.
Or is it just reporting back the wrong version back to vShield Manager ?
The real-problem is, that I cannot seem to get Deep Security to work with ESXi 5.5 now. The Real Time scan using the DSVA (appliance) doesn't enable, and the Endpoint stays unregistred in the Deep Shield Manager. It might be caused by the Endpoint Version.
Anyone else run into this ?
